Prakriti Mahayagya – Community Agnihotra in 251 Pots
On June 7, 2026, a grand community Agnihotra Yagya was organized in 1008 pots at Green Party Plot near V.I. Circle in the Jambodpura area of Surat. More than 1,500 people attended the event and experienced Agnihotra firsthand, understanding its significance.
The Agnihotra practice was initiated on February 22, 1986, by the esteemed Madhavji Potdar Saheb. Continuing this tradition, revered Acharya Smt. Nalini Madhavji, who came from Madhav Ashram in Nepal, addressed the gathering and emphasized that Agnihotra is extremely important in today’s time—not only for human health but also for environmental purification.
She stated that increasing pollution and health-related problems in today’s world can be addressed through Agnihotra. If every family practices Agnihotra regularly at home, it can help purify the environment, bring mental peace, and improve overall health.
She further highlighted the scientific importance of Agnihotra, explaining that it contributes to environmental protection and helps maintain the balance of nature while guiding life in a positive direction.
During the event, Dr. Vivek Potdar also spoke about the importance of Agnihotra in agriculture. He explained that Agnihotra-based farming can enhance soil fertility and improve crop quality.
All attendees participated enthusiastically and experienced peace, health, and positive energy through the practice. The organizers expressed their commitment to spreading awareness and reaching more people through such initiatives.
